The Rev. Dr. J. Aaron Nagel, Pastor
Dr. Nagel serves as pastor and head-of-staff of Long Valley Presbyterian Church in Long Valley, New Jersey. Prior to that, Dr. Nagel served as Senior Minister of First Presbyterian Church of Leesburg, Florida and Associate Minister of John Knox Presbyterian Church of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr. Nagel graduated from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia where he earned his Doctorate of Ministry in Christian Spirituality and Spiritual Formation, and Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Austin, Texas where he earned his Masters of Divinity.

Dr. Nagel’s own faith journey has developed who he is as a pastor and as a person, and he seeks in his ministry to be a witness to the great things God, in Jesus Christ, can accomplish in people. He teaches that God has always remained faithful to his people, never turning a blind eye or a deaf ear. God is approachable, personable, lovable, reasonable, and alive in the life of each of his daughters and sons.

Additionally, he says: “Along with being the son of a Presbyterian minister I consider myself extremely blessed to have a loving wife and two sons, and I place being a husband and father in utmost importance."
