Interfaith Community Outreach of the Washington Township Area
Established in 1996, LVPC was instrumental in developing ICOWTA. It is now is comprised of Deacons and concerned members from 9 area churches. It oversees our community food pantry which is housed at LVPC, by assisting with food collections, volunteer staffing, monetary donations to support purchases and holiday gift basket distributions. ICOWTA oversees our township’s resident emergency fund, helping people in need. This financially assists families and individuals in times of crisis such as fire, accident, illness or unemployment. All situations are confidential and referred by local clergy and members, social workers, school nurses, fire or police personnel.
