Every year, more than 70 people volunteer from LVPV be part of the "Ort Farm Fundraiser."  

LVPC members, Harvey and Edith Ort, and their son Harvey Jr. graciously provide space to non-profit organizations in the community at the farm during the Fall Harvest season.  Each organization operates the concession tent one weekend during the season and 100% of the proceeds go to the organizations ministry.  At LVPC that means increase in our mission outreach while enjoying good fellowship.  Recently, we have supported the ICOWTA, the Foster Parents Association of New Jersey, and our sister Presbytery in Nairobi and other LVPC mission causes.

The concession stand sells hamburgers, hot-dogs, fries, and soft drinks.  People cook, take orders, set-up, clean-up, and assist in buying supplies at local stores. 

Families can sign-up to participate each year near the end of August.  As the time gets closer each year, more information can be found on the Mission Bulletin Board in the Fellowship Hall.
